Music is an essential component of travel for me.

Now that I have the latitude to take road trips when I want, it occurs to me that a great selection of old “sing along” favorites accompany me.

Looking through my old vinyl collection, I made a list of songs that encourage driver-passenger participation and downloaded them to my iPod, creating a list titled “My Old Favorites.”

These songs include songs by John Denver, Guess Who, the Eagles, Paul Simon, the Bee Gees and even Fifth Dimension’s “Aquarius!”

Of course, who could leave out “Stairway To Heaven“ or “Bohemian Rhapsody?”

The playlist is a long one but here I thought I would share some of my list with you – the reader – now, hopefully a listener, just to enjoy and perhaps reminisce….
