This sculpture depicts Mother bending backward, holding Earth in her very capable, strong hands.  The first picture obviously shows her in her entirety, while the next one highlights how much effort she puts forth, lovingly holding Earth.  Finally, if you look closely, you can appreciate how strong her hands must be for such a task.
