The sacrifice they have made and currently make is unfathomable. As a retired Navy Veteran and Chief, I served 22 honorable years. If I were to do it all over again, I certainly WOULD!

Actually, I intended to just do four years, but I kept going to interesting places. I wanted to complete twenty years or more active duty but had to stand down to doing 22 with 9 of it in the Reserves. That means I don’t get my pension for another four years. No worries though, we saved for retirement and did without a lot of stuff to achieve that.
